Graduate of the Mechanical Engineering program (2020) from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, and a PhD student in the discipline of mechanical engineering since 2020. My research focuses on the fatigue and fracture of composite materials. In my doctoral dissertation, I concentrate on the deterministic description of the mechanical response of thin-walled structures made of continuous carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, subjected to multiaxial cyclic loading.

Interests
  • Finite Element Method (FEM); numerical simulations of fracture using the Cohesive Zone Model (CZM), modeling the mechanical response of hyperelastic materials; stress analysis.
  • Mechanics of composite materials; fatigue degradation, multiscale modeling, fatigue life prediction, crack initiation.
  • Fracture mechanics; description of fiber-reinforced laminates using energy release rate
  • Experimental mechanics; basic material characterization, fracture toughness – DCB, ENF, MMB.
